The region’s leading network of healthcare providers, Inspira Health is seeking a Director, Risk Management to join our team and lead risk identification and mitigation activities across our entire system. You will collaborate with the Quality and Patient Safety team, clinicians, administrators and leadership to address opportunities for improvement in the delivery of high-quality care. Duties include:

• Establishing consistent processes that support a proactive approach to risk reduction and high reliability
• Utilizing the domains of enterprise risk management (ERM)
• Evaluating and assessing the following risk: clinical risk, staff issues and scope of practice (human capitol), operational risk (patient complaints, staff and patient safety), environmental and clinical exposures (hazard risk), technology (documentation, medical device and electronic health record issues), financial risk (service recovery and write-offs), compliance with regulatory requirements (legal/regulatory) and crisis/emergency response (strategic risk)

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in nursing; Master’s in business, jurisprudence/legal studies, healthcare administration or nursing preferred
• At least 10 years of nursing experience with 5 years at the management level
• 2 years of risk, quality improvement, patient safety, insurance or law firm experience preferred
• Current NJ RN license; CPHRM preferred (or ability to obtain within 18 months)
