Partnership to End Addiction is looking for a highly motivated person to help lead our Research and Evaluation division, to direct an ongoing project, and to contribute to the development and application of new projects. The successful candidate will have experience in the areas of project management, program evaluation, and data analysis. The candidate should have an interest in growing a research program by collaborating with Partnership’s research team on grant applications and publications and ultimately applying as a PI for new research grants. The position is fully funded for two years.
Work with the Vice President of Research and Evaluation to realize the vision and mission of the Research and Evaluation division.
Support teams across the organization in designing and conducting evaluations of Partnership services.
Manage and analyze quantitative data for projects across the organization.
Design and direct evaluations for external partners.
Assist in applying, and apply as a principal investigator, for new research grants to further the science in areas of expertise that are relevant to Partnership’s mission.
Author publications and conference presentations to disseminate findings of research and evaluation projects.
Direct a SAMHSA-funded continuous quality improvement integrated care project
Supervise 2 RAs
Manage workflow of the team
Collaborate with external partners
Conduct data analysis for the project and/or work closely with the data team
Manage the project budget
Ensure timely and high-quality completion of all interim and final reports
Manage human subjects/IRB protocols

PhD in psychology, public health or related field
Experience in analyses of quantitative data using major statistical software packages (SPSS, SAS, Stata and/or R)
At least 2 years’ experience conducting and managing behavioral health research and/or program evaluation projects
Ability to work collaboratively across multiple teams
Knowledge of evaluation design and methods
Note: We are temporarily teleworking during the COVID-19 pandemic. When we return to in-office work, the Associate Director will work in our NYC office.
