Sr. Risk Specialist (Paralegal/Legal Assistant)
The Sr. Risk Specialist will provide paralegal or legal assistant level support to the in-house Corporate Legal department and perform risk management functions within the department. This position is expected to provide paralegal or legal assistant level support to corporate counsel, while also serving as both oversight and escalation for Workers' Compensation claims from the first report of injury to return to work. Other duties include: Report and track new insured claims to carrier, and organize and maintain case files of new and existing legal matters. Perform legal research and coordinate company response to subpoenas, interrogatories, etc. Provide paralegal-level support for business-related contracts and maintenance of corporate compliance.
