Professor of the Practice in Biomedical Engineering
The Department of Biomedical Engineering at Tulane University invites applications for a Professor of the Practice (PoP). Candidates should demonstrate an interest in enhancing the experiences of our undergraduate and graduate students. Our program covers disciplines such as electronics, signals and systems, anatomy, quantitative physiology, biomechanics, biotransport, biomaterials, tissue engineering, design thinking, and innovation. We seek a team-player with expertise in at least one of these disciplines and the desire and initiative to lead our department’s growth through excellence in teaching, pedagogical development, student mentorship, field-related professional activity, and service.
