STAFF SCIENTIST / FACILITY HEAD
The National Institute on Drug Abuse (NIDA), National Institutes of Health (NIH), Department of Health and Human Services (DHHS), is recruiting for a Staff Scientist/Facility Head to direct the AAALAC accredited Animal Care Program within its Intramural Research Program (IRP).  Research supported by the Animal Care Program will focus on fundamental brain mechanisms related to addiction, and novel means of manipulating those mechanisms and associated brain circuitry for addiction treatment. Primary responsibilities of the Director will include serving as a partner in and facilitator of the research enterprise within the IRP; providing oversight of operations; ensuring that appropriate quality standards are maintained in clinical care, facilities, housing, personnel, and equipment in comp
