Electrical Engineering & Operations Manager
The Electric Engineering & Operations Manager is responsible for managing the system operations, electric department employees and contractors, physical equipment and plant involved in distributing electricity to each customer in accordance with RUS specifications and the District’s long-range system plans. This includes construction and maintenance of electric distribution equipment and facilities, resolving emergency/hazardous conditions, resolving consumer trouble calls, and implementing system upgrades. The position is also responsible for developing, auditing and evaluating all operations management programs, policies, methods and procedures to effectively manage the resources of the PUD in conjunction with the District’s management team and employees.
