Environmental Health Specialist II, Emerging Health Hazards
Deschutes County is accepting applications for an Environmental Health Specialist II, Emerging Health Hazards. Under basic supervision this position will perform a variety of technical functions for the County, including inspection and investigation of environmental issues and complaints regarding air quality, water resources, land use, soils, food safety, wastewater treatment and disposal, public health, epidemiology, public facilities, and solid waste disposal to protect the health and safety of County residents.  In addition to foodservice inspections, this position will be required to train in and carry out functions related to emergent environmental Public Health concerns, including:  Build in-house expertise around indoor
