Basic Function: Coordinates and conducts regular tasks necessary for the maintenance and continual improvement of the Noltex Integrated Management System (IMS) which includes ISO9001, ISO17025 and RC14001. Monitors and maintains the various tracking systems used by Noltex Management to assess the status of the IMS.
Decision-Making: Many tasks are routine with decisions typically directed by established protocols. Relies on experience and good judgment to make decisions regarding the timing and application of a wide range of established policies, procedures and systems in order to meet functional needs. Requests guidance from supervision when faced with decisions involving non-routine or difficult job situations.
Supervision Received: Self-directing for most activities, as they would be expected to be driven by schedule. Prioritization of activities and conduct of non-routine tasks or special projects under the direction of supervision.

Accuracy, Accountability and Control: Accurate and efficient coordination of designated functions is high priority, as they are necessary for maintaining ISO9001, RC14001 certification and ISO17025 accreditation. Accountability is maintained through the management hierarchy. Control is established through the timing & application of documented procedures/protocols and oversight/supervision of activities.
Internal Contacts: Primary contact with supervision regarding ongoing activities. Engages periodically with most employees and contractors regarding their obligations within the IMS.
External Contacts: Contact with customers, as necessary with respect to duties involving the investigation and resolution of customer complaints. Annual contact with external auditors, registrars, and accreditation bodies.
Specialized Skill or Technical Knowledge: Familiarity and proficiency, or ability to develop such, in various IT applications (e.g. Excel, Word, Lotus Notes, SAP, etc.
Confidential Information: Access to specific information regarding the purchasing specifications for critical supplies. Intimate knowledge of high level metrics documenting organizational performance. Access to specific information on customers and product specifications necessary for investigation and resolution of customer complaints.
Working Conditions: Business office on the periphery, but outside the battery limits of an industrial facility.

Noltex LLC is a subsidiary of Mitsubishi Chemical Corporation Located in La Porte, Texas, NOLTEX produces SoarnoL™ Ethylene Vinyl Alcohol Copolymer (EVOH). Additional manufacturing facilities for SoarnoL™ are located in Japan and the United Kingdom.
Noltex was formed in June of 1994 and purchased an idled Du Pont EVOH manufacturing facility in La Porte. Noltex began production of SoarnoL™ resin in early 1996 after retrofitting the first of our plant's production lines.
Our plant primarily serves the needs of the North and South American markets, and supplements product needs in Oceania, Asia, and Europe. With a total annual production capacity of 38,000 metric tons, our EVOH product line includes a wide variety of specialty SoarnoL™ grades in order to better meet the increased demand for this unique gas barrier resin.
