Postdoctoral Scholar in Soybean Physiology and Transcriptomics of Global Change
Start Date: As early as January 2022 Position Details: The Leisner and Sanz-Saez labs at Auburn University are seeking a postdoctoral scholar to work in plant physiology and global change. The focus of the project is to dissect the physiological mechanisms of climate change impacts on seed nutritional quality using the model legume soybean. The major responsibility of the postdoctoral researcher is to carry out a series of controlled growth chamber experiments to examine hypothesized mechanisms of nutrient loss in soybean grown under elevated carbon dioxide concentrations using physiological and transcriptomic techniques. The postdoctoral researcher will also validate this work in the field using the soyFACE facility at the University of Illinois
