Position: Assistant, Associate or Full (tenure track) Professor in the field of Operations Management or Information Systems Starting date: September 1, 2022 Institution: Nova School of Business and Economics (Universidade Nova de Lisboa) Location: Lisbon, Portugal
Position description: Nova School of Business and Economics (Nova SBE), a triple-accredited institution (AACSB, EQUIS, and AMBA), announces the opening of multiple positions at the Assistant, Associate or Full (tenure track) Professor level in Operations Management or Management of Information Systems (including Business Analytics), starting on September 1, 2022. Applicants should have, or soon be completing, a Ph.D. degree in Operations Management, Supply Chain Management, Management of Information Systems, Business Analytics or a related discipline, and a solid research record and strong commitment towards research. Candidates need to demonstrate their ability to publish in leading international business peer-reviewed journals, such as Management Science, MIS Quarterly, Information Systems Research, Manufacturing and Systems Operations Management, Production and Operations Management, and Operations Research. Selected applicants are also expected to contribute to teaching in the areas of Operations Management and Information Systems, such as Supply Chain Management, Service Operations (e.g. Health Care, Retail, etc), Project Management, Business Analytics, Management of Information Systems, Big Data Analytics, or other related areas. Compensation is competitive with top universities in Europe.
