You Will Be Responsible For:
Manage the Stroke and STEMI programs, specifically to ensure implementation of any PI plans and ensure loop closure.
Review care delivered to Stroke/STEMI/ACS patients and identify care issues and/or processes for improvement.
Identify staff learning needs and collaborate with Nursing Education Department to develop educational activities related to Stroke/STEMI/ACS care.
Collaborate with other clinical departments to develop processes that enhance patient care and throughput throughout the continuum of care.
Ensure accurate and timely record input to the Stroke and STEMI Registries
What You Will Need:
5 years’ experience as a Registered Nurse in relevant service line: Acute Cardiovascular and/or Neurovascular Care, Emergency, or Critical Care
Bachelor of Science in Nursing
Current BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certification
The Stroke/STEMI Program Coordinator has the authority to manage the Stroke and STEMI programs throughout the continuum of care and across multidisciplinary lines of service
The Stroke/STEMI Program Coordinator is responsible for ensuring that Texas Health Hospital Mansfield remains in compliance with all regulatory requirements to achieve and maintain Stroke and STEMI Center Designations.
