The Position The Director of Planning and Development Services provides leadership and vision to enhance the integration and coordination between planning and development-related services. The Director sets the strategic direction of the Department to achieve Boulder’s social, economic, and environmental goals. The Director represents the Department, provides technical guidance, and acts as a policy advisor to the City Manager, the Planning Board, and the City Council on a wide range of complex issues and major projects.
