Associate Director, IRB Compliance and Reliance
The Associate Director, IRB Compliance and Reliance supports the mission of Northwestern University’s Human Research Protection Program (HRPP) and Institutional Review Board (IRB) to safeguard the rights and welfare of human participants involved in research, and assists the Executive Director in the development of the IRB Office/HRPP strategic plan and fiscal management. In conjunction with the relevant managers, the Associate Director has oversight responsibility for daily assignment of incoming work volume received by the Compliance and Reliance teams, ensuring adequate staffing, developing policies and procedures, identifying gaps in human research training and education and developing strategies to fill those gaps, contributing to the planning, development and implementation of IR
