The Assessment Specialist will provide expertise in designing assessments and in evaluating and interpreting assessment data to program managers and faculty within the DMU College of Osteopathic Medicine. The Assessment Specialist works closely with program leadership and faculty to design and implement effective assessment tools and instruments to support student learning and programmatic improvement. Responsibilities also include researching emergent assessment methods and working with faculty to integrate these methods into the curriculum. The Assessment Specialist supports faculty in acquiring resources that will inform and develop their skills in using evidence-based assessment methods. This position reports to the Associate Dean for Academic Assessment, Quality and Development.
