The Henry W. Bloch School of Management at the University of Missouri-Kansas City is seeking applications from outstanding candidates with expertise in Business Analytics for a non-tenure track, Assistant Teaching Professor faculty position. Candidates are required to have a Master’s degree with significant coursework related to the teaching discipline and significant and relevant industry experience or a PhD in business (from an AACSB accredited university) or a related discipline with significant coursework relevant to expected teaching responsibilities (ABDs will be considered).  Candidates with degrees in business, applied math, statistics, information systems, and relevant social science disciplines will be considered if their program included significant and relevant coursework in analytics and statistics.  Prior experience teaching either statistics and/or analytics in a business school is preferred.   Successful candidate should be open to consulting type teaching leveraging industry partners to help students code, solve problems, and interpret results. Significant proficiency in statistical and analytical programs and tools such as R, Python, Tableau, and SAS is required. 

The desired start date is Fall 2022. This is a full-time position with benefits. We offer a competitive compensation and benefits package.

Responsibilities: The primary responsibility for this position is teaching undergraduate and graduate courses in analytics, with classes delivered on-campus and online.     Other responsibilities include outreach to industry partners, maintenance of currency and AACSB faculty qualifications via research and/or professional engagement, and university service.
