MSK Kids, Memorial Sloan Ketterings pediatric program, is the largest program in the United States dedicated to the care of children, adolescents, and young adults with cancer, immune deficiencies, and blood disorders. Many innovations pioneered at MSK Kids are now the standard of care across the nation, helping to improve outcomes for all children with cancer.

We are seeking a Clinical Research Manager (CRM) to be responsible for the following services:

• Stem Cell Transplantation and Cellular Therapies Service
• Hematologic Malignancies Service

The Clinical Research Manager is the research operations, thought, and business partner to key stakeholders, providing strategic, financial, analytical, operational, and informational support. They are responsible for supervising research operations and the staff assigned to this task, ensuring the highest quality patient-centric care, data management, clinic management, and regulatory compliance on all clinical trials and corresponding research projects.

As a CRM, you will be responsible for the following:

• Clinical Research Operations Leadership: Provides leadership, strategic direction, and oversight of assigned department(s)/service(s) including all protocols and research projects. Partners with leadership strategically forecast operational needs and sets the long-term direction of the program .
• Quality Assurance: Participate and ensure preparedness in routine audits for data quality, regulatory compliance, patient safety issues related to clinical trial. Ensures compliance with policies and procedures, quality and safety standards, improvement initiatives, and external regulations.
• Staff Management: Directs the functions and activities of staff (direct and indirect) and is responsible for the daily operational activities of clinical research staff. Develops and builds an effective team that can achieve departmental and center goals and objectives.
• Financial Management: Work closely with the appropriate partners, forecast trial resource needs, and assess staffing resource needs for program and senior leadership.
• Regulatory Compliance and Oversight: Ensures that all appropriate Institutional, State, and Federal regulations are followed throughout the course of a research project, database, or protocol. Ensures that research protocols are approved by the Institutional Review Board and followed as written
• Special Projects: Participates and/or coordinates departmental and/or organization-wide research projects. Provides leadership, organizational, creative, or clerical support to both established and new research initiatives

You Have:

• A Bachelor's degree (prefererd) with at least 4 years of clinical research experience.
• 2+ years of staff management experience.
• Thorough knowledge of Good Clinical Practice (GCP) guidelines, Human Subject Protection, clinical trial design, regulatory processes, and clinical development process required.
• Effective written/verbal communication and oral presentation skills required. Excellent interpersonal, leadership, decision-making and issue resolution skills are essential.
