Wake Forest School of Medicine is seeking an Academic Pediatric Hospitalist to join our team at Brenner Children’s Hospital in Winston-Salem, NC.

Our growing, highly collaborative team provides opportunities to participate in a wide array of educational, research, quality and safety scholarship in a supportive, academic setting.

Brenner Children’s Hospital is a “hospital within a hospital” with 68 acute care beds, a 7-bed Intermediate Care Unit and an 11-Bed PICU. Our group of 13 faculty hospitalists care for children on our Inpatient Teaching Services with a broad range of medical needs, including co-management, complex care and patients requiring our Intermediate Care Unit. Coverage model is mixed in-house and home call. No newborn nursery coverage, unless that is of particular interest to the applicant.

Specific expertise in caring for patients with complex medical conditions, or previous work in patient safety would be highly considered.

Candidates must be BC/BE in Pediatrics.
