Transportation Planner II
Fairfax County, a diverse, dynamic and growing jurisdiction in the Washington D.C. metropolitan area is seeking a highly motivated and qualified transportation professional. This position is a member of the On-Street Parking team, Capital Projects and Traffic Engineering Division of the Fairfax County Department of Transportation, with primary responsibility for managing the Residential Permit Parking District and Community Parking District programs. Program responsibilities include: Evaluate parking program requests for eligibility; Manage parking demand studies - process, analyze, and report results and provide recommendations to Board of Supervisors’ office staff; Use Access and ArcGIS to create, issue, and evaluate qualifying public petition packages; Prepare Public Hear
