Responsible for the development of Southwestern Power Administration's (SWPA) marketing policy and Transmission Strategy, and the development, negotiation, and administration of individual power marketing policy through those contracts.
Develop and negotiate original contracts, amendments to existing contracts, and other agreements.
Promote good customer relations to discuss needs, develop criteria for power supply, and develop and explain contract provisions and procedures.
Implement and administer policy for both the short-term and the long-term marketing of Federal power resources.
Review and analyze various engineering studies and recommend auxiliary to the basic power contracts.
Review technical requirements provided by engineers.
Support the Public Affairs Technical Monitor, assist with the preparation and dissemination of power marketing communication materials.
