DescriptionThe Ikegami lab at Cincinnati Children's Hospital Medical Center is recruiting highly motivated postdocs interested in cardiovascular biology. The current focus of the lab research is the molecular basis of diseases caused by nuclear envelope dysfunctions, such as heart diseases, cancer, and age-associated diseases. We utilize diverse cutting-edge techniques in functional genomics, mouse genetics, cardiac pathophysiology, cell engineering, stem cell differentiation, and microscopy. Candidates interested in the interface of chromosome biology, mechanobiology, and systems biology of the immune system are encouraged to apply.
