Ohio University, Division of Exercise Physiology seeks applications and nominations for a 9-month non-tenure track position at the level of Assistant Clinical Professor. The successful candidate will be responsible for teaching undergraduate and graduate courses in exercise physiology and other relevant courses as needed within the Division, with a focus on clinical courses. The successful candidate will help lead the Clinical graduate program through the accreditation process. The candidate will serve as a mentor and coordinator of practicums and internships and will maintain existing practicum and internship sites, such as the HeartWorks cardiac rehabilitation program (https://www.ohio.edu/wellworks/heartworks), as well as seek other high-quality practicum and internship sites both in and outside of Ohio University. They will help in the recruitment of high-quality graduate students and expand the breadth and depth of this program. There will also be opportunities for research based upon the successful candidate’s training and experience.
They will work collaboratively within the University and community programs to promote student learning and research opportunities, such as with the Diabetes Institute (https://www.ohio.edu/diabetes/#) and Ohio Musculoskeletal and Neurological Institute (https://www.ohio.edu/medicine/omni). The candidate will also advise exercise physiology students, potentially apply for funding, and serve on School, College, and University committees. Preferred candidate will have a commitment to contributing to the climate of diversity in the College, including a diversity of educational and scholarly approaches.

Earned Masters degree with a Clinical Exercise Physiology specialization.
Professional work experience in the field of Clinical Exercise Physiology.
Possession of associated credentials (e.g., ACSM, CEP).
