This engineer will be working collaboratively with project teams to deliver new products and assembly capabilities to ensure the delivery of robust solutions that meet the quality promise we make to our customers.  This role will have a significant impact on the profitability of Renewal by Andersen and the experience our customers have through RbA products!

Andersen Corporation is a privately held, nationally recognized, and market leading manufacturer of premium quality windows and doors. Renewal by Andersen is the wholly owned Window and Door replacement division of the Andersen Corporation. 

Position Overview:

This engineering position will provide quality support by working with members of new product development and commercialization teams, and suppliers through the commercialization process. The ideal candidate will be a motivated individual who can ensure that product components and finished product meet expectations, within the project timeline.

Position Responsibilities:

Provide quality engineering support for new product lines including:

• Advancing the quality systems and driving built-in quality and error proofing solutions
• Responsibility for PSW requests, First Article, and PPAP submittals for new product development projects
• Assessing fabrication and assembly equipment capability studies
• Participating in gauge procurement and design reviews
• Participating in equipment design reviews
• Leading Control Plan and Work Instruction documentation completion
• Developing process validation plans and documenting results
• Implementing SPC within the production line
• Approving engineering change requests or PLM’s
• Leading and participating in Process Failure Mode and Affect Analysis (PFMEA) and dimensional engineering strategies
