Pennoni Associates is currently seeking a Senior Highway Engineer and/or Senior Highway Project Manager with experience consistent, but not limited to:
Leading design engineering teams to develop highway designs, prepare plans for DelDOT, SHA and agencies in the Mid-Atlantic Region, locally administered transportation projects
Coordinating highway design tasks with internal and subconsultant survey, traffic, water resources and bridge staff on transportation improvement projects
Developing ADA curb ramp designs, sign and pavement markings plans
Maintenance and protection of traffic plans
Grading and drainage design
Microstation Connect (MSCE), OpenRoads Designer (ORD) and ProjectWise (PW) experience
Providing technical guidance and mentoring to engineers and technical staff with the use of MSCE, ORD and PW
Highway and roadway design experience using MSCE, ORD and PW
Roundabout design experience
Hydrology and Hydraulic (H&H) design experience.
H&H, Drainage design with InRoads suite preferred.
Drainage design, SWM and ES&C design experience. CCR certification a plus
Utility Design, water and sanitary sewer utility layout and lighting design
Developing Maintenance of Traffic schemes, Construction Phasing and Traffic Control Plans
Developing project cost estimates and specifications, including Special Provisions.
Managing projects/tasks of various sizes for a variety of clients.
Managing client relationships with Public and Private Clients, including contractors.
Experience with CM/GC and Design-Build projects is a plus
Construction Consultation Experience
Utility coordination and Utility Relocation Design Experience
