Position Summary: The Security Officer is responsible for the security of the CMC facilities and the safety of its patients, staff, employees, and visitors within its boundaries. He/she is responsible for filing reports, conducting investigations, and assuring that all hospital safety and security policies are met by all concerned. This position works under limited supervision. Work situations are a variety of routine and non-routine situations and functions requiring a service oriented individual, discretion, good judgement, and physical prowess. Internal contacts include staff and management throughout the organization. External contacts include visitors, patients, physicians, and local law enforcement agencies.
