As a Donan Engineer, you will travel within your assigned region to perform on-site investigations and deliver a written report of findings and conclusions. Donan Engineers consistently ensure the forensic investigations conform to our quality of standards by following the scientific method.

Key Responsibilities Include:
Providing expert forensic analysis to clients on an array of multi-disciplined engineering projects, with an unbiased and honest conclusion.
Writing & submitting detailed and accurate reports on completed projects in a timely manner.
Communicating and documenting communication with customers to provide timelines and project updates.
Providing expert testimony and/or depositions as needed on projects in which they have been assigned.
Being available and flexible with their schedule to accommodate additional hours during periods of peak business demand, and backlog as deemed necessary.
Providing excellent customer service to company internal and external customers.
Proactively pursuing additional training and mentoring opportunities, licenses, education, and/or certification
Qualifications:
Registered as an active Professional Engineer (P.E.) or Engineer in Training in the state applied.
Have an active NCEES record (Or be eligible to obtain within six months of employment).
Bachelor's degree in related engineering field: civil, structural, or electrical experience as a Forensic Engineer or related occupation
Experience in the following: hands on engineering with electrical investigations, demonstrated knowledge of writing detailed analytical reports, and administering a multiple project workload
Employment territory will be within 100 miles of city of hire
Must have unrestricted legal authority to work in the U.S.
Must be willing to travel and/or work a flexible schedule during periods of peak demand, or as directed by leadership. The nature of Donan’s work requires travel and flexibility at times in order to meet the needs of our customers. Travel is defined as both overnight(s) out of state, and same day travel not requiring an overnight stay.
Related Experience: Civil Engineer, Design Engineer, Structural Engineer, Construction Management, Residential Construction, Residential Design.
