The Vanderbilt Memory and Alzheimer's Center seeks qualified applicants for a Communications and Social Media Manager. The Manager will plan, develop, and execute communications for the Center, under occasional guidance from the Center Director and program leadership. High-level responsibilities are focused on planning, curating, and publishing social media content and public relations pieces; facilitating digital engagement, including web design; and collaborating with faculty and staff on special projects. Exceptional organizational skills, verbal communication, written communication, and attention to detail are required. Proficiency in Microsoft applications is also required. Proficiency in in graphic design software (e.g., Canva, Adobe Illustrator), Drupal, Barista, Emma, health communications, public health, event management, and community relations is preferred.

The Department of Neurology has doubled in size over the last five years and continues to grow and expand, adding both clinical providers and administrative team members to support this growth. The department is looking for forward-thinking team members who are looking to learn, grow, and expand their skill sets. The ideal applicant will be flexible and adaptable, will offer solution-oriented suggestions, and will serve as a critical thinker, with a focus on quality and accuracy.

Oversees the creation, coordination, and execution of communication pieces, including but not limited to the Center website, social media channels, academic and community events, donor communications, press releases, and talking points.
