Duties/essential functions may include, but not be limited to, the following:  Work closely with the Director to oversee the evaluation, enhancement, and implementation of procedures for human subject research compliance programs within Kent State University’s R1 research enterprise. Develop and maintain program quality assurance mechanisms, e.g. program development, accuracy of documentation, investigator service components, and appropriate application of regulations and policy. Assist in preparing and maintaining accreditation standards. Assist in evaluating and identifying changing regulations, standards and trends which may impact Kent State’s human subject and animal research compliance program activities.
