Description of Duties: Reporting directly to the Vice President for Research, the Assistant Vice President for the Office of Regulatory and Research Compliance serves as a member of Research Division Executive team.  The AVP provides competent and comprehensive research compliance and regulatory administration for the University at Albany to facilitate its mission to improve the human condition and serve the common good through research. The AVP demonstrates comprehensive knowledge of federal, state, and local regulations governing research activities related to human subject research, animal research, export controls, research integrity, special data requirements and security oversight for projects.  The AVP develops and implements institutional policies related
