Under general supervision of the REEC Director and direct supervision of the Branch Chief, independently performs compliance, engineering, and project management work for the Solid Waste Management Program (SWMP). Leads technical staff in environmental and regulatory compliance, landfill gas management and utilization, air quality, stormwater & wastewater management, groundwater monitoring and remediation activities at any of the locations operated by the Fairfax County Solid Waste Management Program.Position may be underfilled as a Engineer II; the Underfill Requirements are stated below in the Employment Standards section.
