Our sister company, Med-IQ, is looking for a Clinical Content Writer!  This is a remote position.

In conjunction with the Risk Management & Patient Safety (RMPS) Director, faculty experts, RMPS team, and editorial managers, the Clinical Content Writer will lead the creation, development, writing, and revisions of a variety of publications, online courses, case-based material, infographic content, and content marketing. The Content Writer will also participate in project planning calls and meetings with new and current customers.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities

• Interpret, synthesize, and explain risk management and legal concepts in a straightforward manner.

• Review and translate federal and state statutes (i.e. HIPAA) and turn it into user-friendly information.

• Craft exceptionally well-written, factually accurate content that needs minimal editing.

• Appreciate direction, feedback, and editorial suggestions

• Work efficiently, prioritize competing deadlines, and consistently meet or beat deadlines

Education, Requirements & Competencies

• Bachelor’s degree in a health related field, or RN.

• RN/JD strongly preferred. 

• Willingness to complete Certification in Health Care Risk Management (CPHRM).

• Experience in CME/CE is a plus, as is experience developing slide decks, needs assessments, and a wide variety of text-based content.

• An understanding of health care delivery, risk management and patient safety principles and related insurance systems obtained from 5+ years of health care, risk management/patient safety and/or loss prevention experience. 

• Proficient in Microsoft Office. Familiarity with SharePoint a plus.
