Our Team is growing! Atema Inc. is an essential member of the Steel Fabrication and Erection Industry contributing to quality initiatives required by State DOTs, General Contractors, and Project Owners. In this role, you will oversee tasks delegated to you by the Project Manager, coordinate with all necessary customers and service providers, and ensure that the project is moving forward on time and on budget. You will need to be highly organized, adaptable, and able to prioritize tasks while working independently. The ability to motivate others and keep them on task in a positive and encouraging manner is also a must-have skill in this position.
Responsibilities
Develop and maintain project tracking reports and meeting minutes on daily basis.
Organizing and updating project tasks and project status in MS Office and other project and tracking databases.
Maintain and proof MSWord documents correcting spelling and punctuation mistakes, typos, formatting, graphics, and pictures using Styles and Developer function.
Evaluate project data and reports to note any deviations from requirements.
Communicate quality or noncompliance’s with urgency and identify these situations with clients - contribute to the correction, containment, and solution as appropriate.
Create and/or maintain Excel spreadsheets using formulas, functions, and data validation to maintain data and information for internal reporting and client reporting.
Creating flow charts that address the understanding of process flow.
Engage with clients and track communications regarding project progress and status.
Conduct and participate in conference calls and online meetings with Fabricators, Manufacturers, and State Engineers.
Schedule technical personnel to meet company quality audit schedules, training classes or public seminars conducted by Atema.
High school diploma or general education degree (GED) required.
2-5 years of inspection or data analysis experience is a plus.
Minimum of 2 years’ relevant work experience in supporting projects.
Demonstrable problem-solving project support experience and skills.
Strong organizational, time management, verbal and written communication skills.
Strong attention to detail and an aptitude for problem solving.
Ability to proactively address potential issues.
Excellent computer skills, including experience with Microsoft Excel (sorting, conditional formatting, Booleans etc.) and Word (styles, developer mode, version control).
Experience using project management software (i.e. Asana or Microsoft Projects) as well as cloud-based hosting platforms.
