Assistant/Associate/Research Professor – Hydrological/Water Resources Engineer
This position is a 100% research, 12-month, non-tenure appointment with Mississippi State University located in the National Center for Alluvial Aquifer Research at the Delta Research and Extension Center in Stoneville, MS with academic affiliation in the Department of Agricultural and Biological Engineering at Mississippi State University. The incumbent will pursue an innovative and comprehensive research program with a focus on the interaction between producer decisions related to irrigation practices, availability and use of alternative water sources, and the groundwater status and trends of the Mississippi River Valley Alluvial (MRVA) Aquifer. The function of the position will be to develop, coordinate, and implement research programs that contribute to improving MRVA aquifer dynami
