Computational Physicist
Los Alamos National Laboratory (LANL) is a multidisciplinary research institution engaged in science and engineering on behalf of national security. We are currently seeking a motivated Computational Physicist (Scientist) to develop the next generation production nuclear weapons code for use at LANL in Los Alamos, NM. In this role, duties include: Researching and developing applied physics and engineering models Implementing methods into production codes Testing and validating methods and educating users as they adopt these methods You may also mentor junior staff, students and post-doctoral colleagues   Qualifications Bachelor's or master’s degree in a STEM field
