The role you’ll contribute:
Helps develop and Implement a Program for Surveillance, Prevention, and Control of Facility-acquired Infections.
Reviews and revises policies and procedures related to infection control with all department managers
Maintains an ongoing review and analysis of healthcare associated infection data, risk factors, and special studies that relate to Infection Control
Provides feedback to selected hospital departments about healthcare associated infection risk of their patients.
Monitors compliance with current infection control standards in all areas.
Collaborates with other departments to assure compliance with the hospital’s biomedical waste program.
Reviews documentation on maintenance and surveillance of sterilization equipment and sterile supplies.
Attends all required Safety Training programs and can describe his/her responsibilities related to general safety, department/service safety, and specific job–related hazards.
What will you need:
Two (2) years of clinical experience upon hire
BSN degree upon hire
Current Florida RN license upon hire
Completion of Infection Control/Epidemiology course upon hire
