The Department of Human Development and Family Sciences (HDFS) at the University of Connecticut invites applications for an Assistant Professor (tenure-track) position in the area of Latinx families. Examples of areas of specialization may include but are not limited to: family socialization around issues of racism and social justice; protective and resilience factors that promote wellbeing in the context of the family; intergenerational transmission of stress and coping (e.g., socialization of emotion, coping, and behavior within the family); grandparents raising grandchildren; immigration patterns and processes for Latinx families; multicultural family socialization strategies and outcomes; sociocultural patterns of caregiving (e.g., extended family caregiving or communal fa
