University Hospitals, Seidman Cancer Center and Case Western Reserve University (CWRU) School of Medicine have announced a national search for their next Chief, Division of Gynecologic Oncology.

Under the leadership of Chair, Stephanie Teal, MD, MPH, the Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology, and the Division of Gynecologic Oncology, are poised for tremendous growth. As a leading member of the National Cancer Institute-funded NRG Oncology, the Gynecologic Oncology, with 5 full time faculty, offers the following comprehensive services:
Extensive portfolio of clinical trials of new treatments;
Only Proton Therapy Center in Ohio;
Genetic analysis of tumors to guide personalized therapy;
Genetic risk assessment to guide preventive strategies in cancer-prone families;
and CaReS (Cancer Recovery and Survivorship) program to help patients improve their overall wellbeing following cancer treatment.
University Hospitals and the CWRU seek a visionary, forward-thinking, and nationally recognized clinician-scholar to serve as the Chief of the Division of Gynecologic Oncology. The successful candidate will maintain and expand the Division’s national reputation in the academic missions of clinical care, education, and research. This position is a unique opportunity to serve as disease team leader and deliver innovative therapies across a broad region, build market share, and carry out sponsored research in a broad array of cancer-related areas, from Phase 1 immunotherapeutics to clinical trials.
