Department: Pulmonary ServicesFTE: 0.75Full Time (30 - 40 hours per week)Shift: DaysPosition Summary:Provide patient education to improve COPD/Asthma care. Collaborate with the Pulmonary Disease management team to design and conduct educational training for patients at UNM Hospitals and the community. Ensure adherence to Hospitals and departmental policies and procedures. Patient care assignment may include; Neonate, Pediatric, Adolescent, Adult and Geriatric age groups.Detailed responsibilities:* PROGRAMS - Work with the Pulmonary team to develop, implement, and evaluate educational programs based on needs assessments, physicians, departmental requests and hospitals administration for Asthma, COPD, Interstitial Lung Disease and Tobacco Cessatio
