This position is responsible for the facilitation and coordination of facility specific performance improvement teams and patient safety initiatives within the framework of the CHRISTUS Santa Rosa Health Care Performance Improvement and Patient Safety Plan. In addition, this position is responsible for coordination of the assigned facility Performance Improvement and Patient Safety committee. This position is also responsible for coordination of Physician Peer Review at the facility level. This position will monitor and coordinate responses to regulatory compliance issues related to core measures, performance improvement and patient safety.
Bachelor's degree, required.
RN or clinical license required. Three (3) to five (5) years relevant experience in health care, preferably in an acute care hospital environment. Minimum two (2) years of recent experience with performance/quality improvement program/ activities, required. Certified Professional in Health Care Quality preferred.
