Adorned by the San Bernardino and San Gabriel mountain ranges, Hesperia was named the “Star of the West” more than 100 years ago. As the gateway to the Mojave River Valley Community, the City of Hesperia is located in beautiful Southern California with a rich history and exciting future. Only 90 miles northeast of Los Angeles and 35 miles north of Ontario, the City of Hesperia is strategically located at the intersection of Highway 395 and Interstate 15 – a transportation corridor of national significance.
Incorporated over 30 years ago, the City has built a strong economic foundation supported by a young and growing population. Once a small un-incorporated community containing only a few stoplights and 13,540 people in 1980, Hesperia’s population swelled within 40 years to 99,818.
Hesperia offers the best of Southern California’s lifestyle at a price that families can afford. Clean air, over 350 days of sunshine, and deep blue skies entice both businesses and residents to Hesperia.
