Required Education:
4 Year Degree
Matrix is seeking highly talented individuals to manage and technically deliver environmental assessment and remediation projects and mentor junior staff. In this this role you will be involved with groundwater assessments, remediation design and implementation, environmental due diligence, municipal and private clients, and others. This position also supports business development, marketing and proposals.
This position may be located in our Denver, CO or Phoenix, AZ offices.
Essential Functions:
Conduct and manage environmental remediation projects
Implement environmental remediation technologies, and practical applications
Technical report writing, manage scope, schedule, budget, and subcontractors
Assist with and establish client relationships and foster client retention and growth
Prepare proposals and coordinate workload of support staff
Direct field staff and subcontractors and conduct field work as necessary
Adhere to safety practices and policies to ensure your own safety, as well as the safety of others who may be affected by your actions at work
Ensure quality and client satisfaction
Additional Duties:
Prepare Phase I and II Environmental Assessments
Lead and support the implementation of safety and quality plans
Assist with Environmental Services strategic planning and execution
Obtain new environmental business opportunities and grow client base
Participate in professional associations and organizations to promote Matrix in the industry
Experience in environmental assessment, planning, remediation, permitting, and compliance
Ability to analyze and interpret technical and project data
Excellent verbal and written communication skills, and the ability to be persuasive
Strong team building, organizational and planning skills
Positive, collaborative team player
Understanding of asbestos and lead based-paint surveys and regulations preferred
Experience with soil vapor extraction (SVE) systems preferred
Experience with overseeing drillers drilling to sample to ID what the contamination is and where it is in the soil or groundwater
