The University of Connecticut’s Health Disparities Institute (HDI) is a research and policy center within the School of Medicine (SOM). The HDI focuses on the Bioscience Connecticut's legislative mandate that UConn shall support a HDI that will enhance research and the delivery of care to the State’s historically excluded minoritized and oppressed populations who have suffered disparate health outcomes.
