A Nurse Consultant position is available in the Office of Sponsor and Regulatory Oversight (OSRO) of the Center for Cancer Research (CCR), National Cancer Institute (NCI), National Institutes of Health (NIH). OSRO is seeking a Nurse Consultant to assume a leadership role in the operational section, and to serve as the supervisor of the OSRO operational team, overseeing and problem solving complex issues regarding protocol development, clinical monitoring, essential regulatory document assessment and other Sponsor’s obligations. The Nurse Consultant will serve as the Sponsor’s representative overseeing a large and complex program of FDA regulated clinical trials in the Intramural NCI Program.
Eligibility
Completion of a graduate or higher level degree, bachelor's degree, associate degree, or diploma from an accredited professional nursing educational program is required.
Experience in overseeing large scale clinical trial operations from a Sponsor perspective.
Conditions of Employment

Licensure Requirement
The candidate must have passed the National Council Licensure Examination for Registered Nurses (NCLEX-RN). AND
Have a current, active, full, and unrestricted license or registration as a professional nurse from a State, the District of Columbia, the Commonwealth of Puerto Rico, or a territory of the United States.
