Advising and directing HPH employees in regulatory compliance
Disseminating information to and educating of HPH employees regarding a broad spectrum of compliance-related topics (e.g., Corporate Charitable contributions, Fraud and Abuse Laws, Safe Medical Devices Act);
Maintaining a current working knowledge of Federal and State regulations and policies as they affect HPH through routine review of various regulatory manuals;
Maintaining the effectiveness of the Corporate Compliance Program
Measurement of compliance by conducting routine and/or focused internal audits of policy/procedure adherence as well as coordinating audits generated by external sources
Conducts daily, monthly, quarterly, and annual audits utilizing QI tools for patient charts
Compiling, analyzing, and summarizing, information gathered from incident reporting systems and review of patient charts
Coordinates and monitors compliance as required by regulatory agencies
Bachelor's College degree required, Master preferred
Industry-related experience in healthcare corporate compliance: 1 -3 Years
Background in Medicare and Medicaid reimbursement and fraud and abuse laws
Clinical Background Preferred
Quality Improvement Preferred
HCCA Compliance Certification or within a year of hire
