Supports the conduct of research studies, research projects and related administrative tasks. Must be proficient in the duties and responsibilities of a Research Assistant.
Performs day-to-day project activities such as maintaining study documentation, attending and documenting study meetings.
Conducts data entry and manages computer databases used for data collection.
Conducts literature searches and fact-finding research to support project development.
Assists with data collection and data analysis.
Assists with the development and maintenance of study documents.
Prepares, maintains and tracks regulatory documents according to governmental regulations and sponsor requirements.
Assists with subject visits including obtaining vital signs, performing clinical tests, collecting clinical samples, and data collection.
Performs recruitment tasks including database searches, patient recruitment calls, informed consent discussions, and the development and execution of recruitment letters.
Navigates, performs data searches, and schedules appointments.
Assists with grant submissions and grant funding opportunities and participating in pre-award grant process, as applicable.
Assists with tracking project related expenses and orders.
Assists in the orientation and training of new research assistants.
Oversees research assistant schedules and tasks on research projects.
Assists in preparation of submissions to the Institutional Review Board.
Communicates the needs, issues, trial status, etc.
to appropriate study personnel.
Conducts and manages minimal risk studies, under the supervision of a project manager or research coordinator.
