This role is responsible to improve organizational effectiveness through the coordination and deployment of the training program.
Description of Duties:
Coordinate efforts with managers related activities who ensure alignment of their area with broader organizational initiatives and objectives.
Lead continual improvement initiatives at the Spuntech Roxboro facility, including those related to the plant organization and quality management systems.
Train plant associates on effective root cause analysis and identification of corrective actions, including use of 5WHY, Fishbone, and other quality tools
Create, implement, and support a world class training system throughout the Roxboro facility
Set direction for those responsible for training, including on-boarding, employee qualification, and employee development to support growth, performance and retention of existing employees.
Assist in determining the methods for monitoring, measurement, analysis, and evaluation of key performance indicators as they relate to training and continual improvement of processes
Develop and maintain Cornerstone and all other training records for “on the job” training.
Create and report Among other potential measurements, collect data on training programs, the impact of a continual improvement process on cost savings, and the improvement of work processes in the time taken or steps involved.
Participate in identifying and eliminating process variations resulting in external and internal failures through the Quality Management System tools and processes.
Ensure that employee recognition is received for involvement in CI activities using site CI recognition Process.
Training
Identify training needs and coordinate with Managers.
Train and participate in the standard root cause analysis
Qualifications and Certification – monitor and manage process
Handle all aspects of online Training system. Ensure accuracy and ensure it is kept up to date.
Support the company’s quality and safety initiatives
Administrative Duties and Record Keeping
Perform other special projects as assigned.
Education and Experience
A bachelor’s degree is desired

Experience with training in a production environment
Excellent computer skills in a Microsoft Windows environment.
