The Quality Leader (Manager) provides senior level management leadership to all employees within the quality organization. The Quality Leader is responsible for the maintenance and compliance of the applicable Quality Standards and Certifications. This position also provides senior level input to the executive staff ensuring that all the responsibilities listed below are fulfilled.
DUTIES/ RESPONSIBILITIES include, but not limited to:
Maintain and continually improve the applicable Quality Certifications.
Stay current with the changes in the standards and the applicable Product and Systems Regulations.
Manage & coordinate the Internal Audit program for the company. Work towards the efficacy and success of the program.
Manage the CAPA (Corrective Action & Preventive Action) that results from Internal/External Audits or Internal/Externally reported non-conformances.
Nominated Quality Management Representative of the company. Assures management reviews of the Quality System are held and properly documented to reflect the status of the Quality System effectiveness and resulting improvement plans/actions.
Participate in purge and MRB meetings to ensure proper disposition of discrepant material.
Lead and Coach members in the Quality Organization, including Quality Engineers and Quality Inspectors. Monitors their assignments from a strategic perspective to continuously improve.
Establish department goals and objectives, monitors trends and systemic issues to identify initiatives to enhance the performance of the Quality System.
Monitor key KPIs. Recognize and coordinates analysis of top offenders, identify issue drivers and lead the team to implement internal corrective and preventive actions.
Develop initiatives and projects to maintain a standardized Quality System in alignment with the Global Quality Team strategies.
Communicate constantly with Corporate and Regional Teams. Contact window with the rest of the Quality Organization members across all the sites.
Develop and maintain ongoing Quality Engineering relationships between Creation Technologies, Customers and Suppliers.
Seek for support and guidance from the Regional Quality Leader.
Manage the Supplier Quality Engineering organization and align with corporate requirements
Facilitates certification for IPC-A-610 specialists.
QUALIFICATIONS:
MS or BS Degree in Engineering or related discipline
Minimum 5 years of Quality Engineering Management Experience
Experience in application of Lean Methodologies and/or Six Sigma
Working Experience with ISO9001, AS9100 and ISO13485
Experience of dealing directly with customers in the Quality Environment
Experience in PCBA, High-Level Assembly Environment or equivalent
In depth knowledge and proven working experience of Quality Tools
Ability to lead problem solving activities with small and large teams
Familiar with inspection practices, including IPC understanding
FDA exposure is a plus
