The Patient Safety Specialist is responsible for assisting in the management and coordination of the patient safety program. The Patient Safety Specialist will work with Patient Safety leadership, operational and medical leadership in analyzing the human, organizational, and system factors contributing to adverse events and work with them to identify and implement risk reduction strategies that promote patient safety. This position provides the flexibility, based on department needs, to perform some or most of the job duties remotely.? Hybrid positions require availability to come on site as needed, and the amount and timing of onsite availability will be discussed during the interview process.
