ADF International in Great Falls, MT is currently hiring a Quality Assurance/Quality Control Manager for their steel fabrication plant and industrial coating facility. Qualified candidates will have a Bachelor of Science in Civil, Mechanical, Industrial or Construction Engineering. Qualified candidates will have knowledge of codes of standards for AISC, AWS, CWB, ASTM, and NACE. We seek to hire motivated individuals with 5 or more years of supervisory and management experience in Quality Control.
DUTIES SUMMARY:
Report to General Manager.
Manage Quality staff.
Interpretation of project specifications and applicable standards. Communicate project’s specific quality and Inspection requirements to the appropriate Inspectors.
Plan and prepare inspections activities using the specific Inspection and Testing Plan (ITP) and/or the Standard ITP by reviewing the project’s requirements.
Maintain the personnel qualification log to ensure inspectors are assigned in accordance with their qualifications.
Periodically verify the inspector’s work.
Approve inspection and testing procedures.
Keep calibration records up-to-date in.
Prepare and/or review ncr or correction memo along with proposed resolutions and submit the NCR to the customer’s approval.
Release finished product when they comply with the specified requirements, and therefore no pending ncr or correction memo.
Ensure that all Quality records and documents are complete, adequate, and approved. When required, distribute, and withdraw obsolete copies.
Ensure that all quality records are adequately filed, protected, and stored in accordance with the provision set forth.
Supply the client with certificates of compliance and analysis reports as required.
Prepare project’s “Final Release” file in accordance with established requirements.
Periodically review Quality System documentation (Quality Manual, Work Instruction, Forms) and processes and provide updates and changes in collaboration with the Quality Management Coordinator
Attend management review meetings.
When a non-conformance process is detected, generate a preventive or a corrective action in accordance with the Quality Manual.
Develop, implement and oversee program and training to achieve greater quality, efficiency, and performance of the company.
All other related tasks and duties.
Interface with 3rd party inspectors.
Conduct internal and external quality audits.

Ensure that the finished product complies with the project’s requirements.
Ensure that the Quality System is communicated and applied consistently through all corporation activities.
Ensure that we apply the coating “good practices”.
