Department Chair of Human Genetics
The University of Pittsburgh School of Public Health is accepting applications for the position of Department Chair of Human Genetics at the faculty rank of Professor with tenure or Associate Professor with tenure. Founded in 1948, Pitt Public Health spans seven academic departments, with nearly 650 students and 500 combined faculty and staff. The Department of Human Genetics was formally established in 1989 as the first such department in a School of Public Health, which is one of the six Health Science Schools of the University of Pittsburgh. The department is poised to enrich current research strengths and to train the next generation of Human Genetics scientists and leaders.
