Responsibilities:
Collaborates in the execution of the corporate Quality Assessment Performance Improvement (QAPI) Plan by using a data-driven focus that sets priorities for improvement aligned with strategic initiatives.
Identifies and facilitates improvement opportunities to address organization-wide operational/program effectiveness and efficiencies to achieve an overall positive experience for patients and families.
Responsible for driving continuous improvement through the use of Lean Six Sigma methodologies.
Participates in organizational Joint Commission readiness.
Provides coaching and training to promote and sustain organizational continuous improvement efforts.
Qualifications:
Education/Regulatory Requirements:
Bachelor's Degree required
Lean Six Sigma Green Belt Certification or CPHQ (Certified Professional in Healthcare Quality) required; Lean Six Sigma Black Belt Certification preferred.
Skills:
Three to Five years of project management, data analysis or strategic planning.
Identifies and executes continuous improvement projects.
Leads and facilitates projects, A3s, Kaizen Events, Value Stream Mapping, and Root Cause Analysis. Trains on Lean Six Sigma concepts, tools, and methodology.
Skilled in extracting and compiling reports for data analysis and presentation.
Skilled in running project teams and conducting report outs.
Ability to develop training tools and teach Lean and facilitate project teams
Have an ability to prioritize projects, meet deadlines, manage several projects simultaneously and work well under pressure required.
Professional Requirements:
Clear and concise communication skills.
Ability to proactively work with organizational leadership.
